The Best Facials for Autumn and Winter

Autumn is the ideal time to book in for a skin soothing and brightening facial treatment! As the temperatures drop and we expose our skin to heating indoors and then the cold and wind outside, our skin can begin to suffer. It’s good to look for treatments that suit both your skin type and the season, so you can have a happy, healthy complexion! Autumn and winter are also the ideal time to work on any sun damage that you may have from sunbathing during the summer months; treatments like peels and exfoliation are ideal in the darker months within limited exposure to the sun,  as they require extra SPF to protect the skin while it is rejuvenated!

As always, if you have any questions about facial treatments or what products would be good for your skin, our therapists are experts in skin and would be delighted to help you choose a facial that is right for you!

I’ve put together a list of my favourite facials to book in for Autumn and Winter:

ESPA Advance Enzyme facial (60 mins – £101)

There’s nothing quite like the cosy feeling of being tucked up warm inside, watching the leaves turn, while drinking a pumpkin spiced latte! To give your skin that autumnal feel, I recommend the ESPA Advanced Enzyme Facial, which envelopes the skin in botanical extracts and pumpkin, yes pumpkin, enzymes. Your skin will be deeply exfoliated, smoothed and softened, ready for the changing seasons.

ESPA Intense regenerating Facial (60 mins – £107 / 90 mins – £137 )

When winter arrives, the cold, dry air, can play havoc with your skin, leaving it dry and sensitive. The best way to diminish these effects is the ESPA Intense Regenerating Facial, the renewing formula works to tone, plump and, most importantly, hydrate the skin.

Advanced Treatment Epionce® Skin Peels (from £77 per treatment)

If you are noticing pigmentation from sun damage, or an increase in fine lines after a summer of fun in the sun, then a peel is a fantastic, deep treatment to help improve and even skin tone. Peels work by increasing the cell turnover of the skin, to reveal decreased pigmentation and softening the appearance of fine lines. Epionce Peels are formulated with potent botanical ingredients that are suitable for even the most sensitive of skin. We recommend using an SPF of 30+ (even on cloudy days) after you’ve had a peel, to keep the new skin protected.

Until next time,
