The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel, has appointed experienced beauty professional Kate Lake as its new Spa Manager. Kate will oversee the facilities and manage the team of spa therapists. Additionally, due to unprecedented demand for spa experiences, Kate will be recruiting additional therapists to join the team.

ith over 20 years experience in beauty therapy, Kate’s appointment is a welcomed addition to the senior management team at the spa. Previously working at the Qi Spa in David Lloyd, Cambridge, Kate is extremely knowledgeable of the industry since having begun her career achieving a National Diploma of Beauty Therapy and Applied Science. Kate’s previous work experience has extended to her also working with various product houses including Elemis, Dermalogica, Jessica, Mii, and more recently, Decleor.
Commenting on her appointment Kate Lake says: “I am delighted to be joining the team as Spa Manager at The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel at such an exciting time. As we are settling into a life post-lockdown, I’m looking forward to welcoming guests, both new and old, back to the spa to provide a first-class experience. Starting my role just before Christmas is also particularly exciting as it’s the spas busiest time of year with lots of festive promotional activities to be involved with, particularly with product house ESPA.”
