Via the A1
Travelling from the North via the A1. Just after Junction 14, the A1 will merge into the A14 at Alconbury Weston, Cambridgeshire, just north of Huntingdon. Proceed along the A14 and exit at Junction 37, taking the A142 exit to Ely/Newmarket. Turn right onto Fordham Road (A142) and go through 2 roundabouts. Then at the traffic lights, turn onto Bury Road (A1304).
Via the M1
Travelling from the North via the M1. At Junction 19, take the A14 exit signposted Cambridge/Felixstowe/Harwich. Proceed along A14 and exit at Junction 37, taking the A142 exit to Ely/Newmarket. Turn right onto Fordham Road (A142) and go through 2 roundabouts. Then at the traffic lights, turn left onto Bury Road (A1304).
FROM THE SOUTH
Via the M11
Travelling from the South on the M11. After Junction 9, the M11 will merge into the A14 at Great Chesterford. Proceed along A14 and exit at Junction 37, taking the A142 exit to Ely/Newmarket. Turn right onto Fordham Road (A142) and go through 2 roundabouts. Then at the traffice lights, turn onto Bury Road (A1304).
Via the A12
Travelling from the South on the A12. After Junction 32, take the 1st exit onto the A14 at the roundabout signposted Bury St Edmunds/Norwich. At Junction 39, take the B1506 exit to Newmarket. Continue straight onto the B1506. Then at the traffic lights, turn onto Bury Road (A1304).
BY RAIL
Newmarket has 1 train station and is served by ‘National Rail’ with regular services running from London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street into Cambridge with onward connections into Newmarket. Ipswich Train Station also provides connections for travel into Newmarket.
